Our founder, Ty, had spent years climbing the corporate ladder until a much-needed sabbatical gave her the space to reconnect with her passions. Diagnosed with celiac disease as a young adult, Ty knew firsthand the struggle of finding gluten-free foods that were not only safe but satisfying. Too often, gluten-free meant joy-free, bland textures, forgettable flavors, and dishes that left something to be desired.
With time on her hands and a hunger for change, Ty went back to her roots, reimagining her family’s treasured recipes with a gluten-free twist. In her kitchen, she began crafting dishes that didn’t just meet dietary needs but celebrated flavor, texture, and nourishment. Her creations weren’t just “good for gluten-free,” they were good, period.
When friends and family, most of whom weren’t gluten-free themselves, started requesting more of her baked goods, one thing became clear: these recipes had something special. Encouraged by the response, Ty took a leap of faith, and Naked Grains was born.
